Is the FA Cup enough?
What is the most important to Arsenal now? That final Champions League position, or finally getting our hands on some silverware with the FA Cup? Short-term, it has to be the FA Cup, but maybe the Champions League place is the more sensible long-term option to bring in top-level talent? Comment below with your thoughts!
The Big Question: #WENGERIN or #WENGEROUT?
Serge Aurier: The Sagna Replacement?
This Ivorian full back has been linked to both Arsenal and their London rivals, Chelsea. Recently however, Aurier’s agent seemed to hint that he’d prefer a move to North London. The right-sided defender, of French descent, has just begun his international career with the Ivory Coast and may be a long term replacement for contract rebel, Bacary Sagna.
A Couple of Transfers to Push for the Title?
Arsenal’s end of season downfall has made it clear of a lack of depth in two departments; pace and quality strikers. Two signings that could correct this issue for a title challenge next season are Alexandre Pato (Sao Paulo, on loan from Corinthians) & Stephan El Shaarawy (AC Milan). El Shaarawy is the kind of direct and pacey winger the club need, and Pato has the potential to be one of the world’s top strikers (if he gets a manager that forces his to train vigorously). Both would be available for around £20 million.
6 Points From the Terror at Everton
After yesterday’s disappointment (to say the least) at Goodison, here’s a 6-point conclusion from the game:
1. Arsenal need a Plan B when the fancy stuff stops working.
2. We need Walcott back.
3. Vermaelen is a great tackler but his organisation isn’t good enough.
4. Wenger is not sure on Sanogo (why else wait so long to bring him on?).
5. Wenger should have made substitutions far earlier, preferably at half time.
6. Rambo is back!

Harking Back: New Away Kit Hints At Invincibles
The 2013/14 away kit launch occurred yesterday. Ox, Ramsey, Walcott, Wilshere and Jenkinson teamed up to present the kit. The hooped socks are a bit lairy, but other than that I really like it. Here’s to looking forward to seeing some great football from those in yellow next season!
Jovetic Could Prove To Be The New Bergkamp
With the faltering of the Higuain transfer, it’s interesting to look elsewhere as to what other options are available to fill the current void in attack for Arsenal. Stephen Jovetic is a sort of player we haven’t seen in North London since the exit of one Dennis Bergkamp: a skillfull forward with vision to execute passes as well as a delicate finish. Could the Montenegro forward prove to be a replacement for a legend we lost seven years ago?
Benteke On The Move?
So Benteke has handed in a transfer request at Villa Park. Disrespectful to the club that shaped itself around him and pushed him into Premiership’s set of top strikers. Still, I’m not sure many Gunners would be unhappy if we signed him, after he stated in December that it would be his dream to play at the Emirates.
